We have developed a user friendly application for packaging seed in head-row type tray for planting. The workflow takes advantage of barcoded seed packages and a visual tray map to reduce errors in laying out trays and reduce the time for packing seed. The SeedTrayApp is written in Java and can be used on any operating systen with a Java Runtime Enviroment (Java Virtual Machine) including Windows, Mac OS and Linux. SeedTrayApp is distributed as a runable Java archive (.jar). This file can be saved in any directory and launched by double clicking on the executable file.
